In 1966, José E. Catalano began his business, focusing on the production of furniture hardware. In 1975, the company added the sale of custom-cut sheet metal. In 1989, it acquired the "Tábano" motorcycle sprocket and pinion factory. In 1992, the company began manufacturing wheels for seeders and gears for the agricultural sector. In 2001, it launched its line of discs and blades for seeders. That same year, it achieved ISO 9001 certification. Today, Catalano SA occupies more than 5,000 square meters and directly employs over 50 people.
