XRFLON®R206 is a high-performance modified gasket made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin filled with high-purity silica powder. The R206 is subjected to repeated roller pressing, creating a highly fibrillated structure. And inorganic fillers are more homogeneously blended with PTFE resins, ensuring the R206 has more stably physical and mechanical properties, minimizing creep relaxation and cold flow problems associated with traditional PTFE gaskets. XRFLON® R206 has excellent chemical resistance and is suitable for use in most chemical applications. In particular, it has excellent sealing properties in strongly acidic environments.
