KYN28A-12 switchgear is suitable for three-phase AC power system with rated voltage of 12kV and rated frequency of 50Hz, which is used for receiving and distributing electric energy and control, protection and monitoring circuits.
This equipment is an indoor metal extractable switchgear (hereinafter referred to as switchgear). This is a complete power 3.6-12KV three-phase AC 50Hz single bus single bus segmented system power distribution device, which is mainly used in power plants. Small and medium-sized generators, power distribution of industrial and mining enterprises, and power systems of secondary substations, power reception, power transmission and large high-voltage motor start-up. The switchgear meets the requirements of IEC298, GB3906 and other standards. It has the interlocking function to prevent the push-pull circuit breaker handcart from carrying load, to prevent the circuit breaker from opening and closing errors, and to prevent the grounding switch from closing the circuit breaker when the grounding switch is in the closed position, to prevent it from entering the live room, and to prevent the grounding switch from being misconnected when the power supply is live. This may be equipped with a VS1 vacuum circuit breaker, which is a performance distribution device.
KYN28A-12 switchgear (hereinafter referred to as switchgear) is a new product designed and developed by our company on the basis of absorbing advanced manufacturing technology at home and abroad. It can replace all kinds of old metal-enclosed switchgear, such as KYN1-12, KYN2-12 and other series of products.
Conditions of Use
●Ambient air temperature: upper limit +40°C, lower limit -10°C;

●Relative humidity: the daily average does not exceed 95%, and the monthly average does not exceed 90%;

● Altitude: 1000m and below;

●Seismic intensity: no more than 8 degrees;

● No pre-explosion or explosion risk, no serious pollution, no chemical corrosion, no violent vibration. For use beyond the normal environmental conditions specified in GB3906, it should be negotiated between the user and the manufacturer.

This product meets the standard requirements of GB3906 "3~35kV AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear", GB/T11022 "General Technical Requirements for High-Voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment Standards", IEC60298 "AC Metal-enclosed Complete Switchgear and Control Equipment with Rated Voltage above 1kV and 52kV Below", and DL/T404 "Technical Conditions for Ordering Indoor AC High-voltage Switchgear".

This product has the following obvious advantages:

●The shell of the product is completely assembled with bolts, with high mechanical strength, which effectively ensures that the product is clean and beautiful, and the cabinet door is sprayed with plastic coating, which has strong impact resistance and corrosion resistance. The enclosure protection level is IP4X (can be changed to iron plate according to customer needs).

●The switch of this product can be equipped with VD4 vacuum circuit breaker and C3 series fixed load switch produced by ABB, and can also be equipped with various domestic series vacuum circuit breaker (such as VS1, VH1, VK, Zn28), which can replace similar foreign products.

● No matter which type of circuit breaker is chosen, the air insulation distance of the bare wire can be guaranteed to be greater than 125mm, and the composite insulation can be guaranteed to be greater than 60mm. LTS circuit breakers have the unique advantages of long life, low maintenance, and small size.

The switchgear is designed in accordance with the metal-enclosed switchgear in GB3906-91. The structure of the switch cabinet is described in Figure 1: The switch cabinet is composed of a fixed cabinet and a pull-out part (called a trolley). The enclosure of the cabinet and the partitions of each functional unit are bolted. The enclosure of the switch cabinet is IP4X and when the door is opened, the circuit breaker chamber door is IP2X. The switchgear can be equipped with a vacuum circuit breaker, a trolley or a fixed load switch. It has functional solutions such as overhead inlet (outlet) wires, cable outlets, etc. The control cabinets can be arranged in double cabinets, i.e. back-to-back or face-to-face in double rows.

Installation of switchgear
a. Transfer the switchgear to a specific location according to engineering requirements and drawings. If there is a long row of switchgear (e.g.,more than 10 switchgears),the consolidation work should start from the middle position.

b. Use specific means of transport such as cranes or forklifts. Roller crowbars are strictly prohibited.

c. Take out the circuit breaker handcart from the switchgear and store it elsewhere for safekeeping.

d. Loosen the retaining bolts in front of the bus compartment and remove the vertical partition plate 9.

e. Loosen the retaining bolts of horizontal partition plate 19 under the breaker compartment and remove the horizontal partition.

f. Loosen and remove base plate 16.

g. Remove cover plates 1 and 2 from the control lines lot on the left side of the switchgear. Remove the cover plate of the right front control line groove at the same time.

h. Install the switchgear one by one on the basis,including the horizontal and vertical aspects,and the installation irregularity of the switchgear shall not exceed 2mm.

I. When the switchgear is completely combined (spliced),it can be connected to the base channel steel with foundation screws or welded firmly with the base channel steel by electric welding.
