Working Principle: This system mainly consists of a serpentine heat exchanger, a bladder accumulator, pressure gauges, temperature gauges, and a pressure transmitter. It is primarily used in the AP1682 arrangement 3 seal flushing scheme. The serpentine heat exchanger cools the frictional and agitation heat generated by the secondary seal during operation, and the pumping ring on the seal provides circulation power. The bladder accumulator provides stable pressure to the system, ensuring pressure stability after seal leakage, and provides 1.5L of isolation fluid for replenishment. If the isolation fluid pressure in the system is lower than (medium-measured seal cavity pressure + 0.1) MPa, the pressure transmitter will generate an alarm signal, reminding the operator to replenish the system with isolation fluid. Replenishment can be done using the system's built-in or a mobile manual replenishment pump. The replenishment pressure can be read through the pressure indicator; generally, the isolation fluid pressure is (medium-measured seal cavity pressure + 0.14~0.41) MPa. (The isolation fluid should be selected based on the characteristics of the process medium, and a medium with good miscibility with the process medium should be chosen as much as possible.) Applications: ● This arrangement is used for double-end face seals in configuration 3. ● High vapor pressure and flash hydrocarbon media. ● Hazardous and toxic process media. ● Media with high thermal conductivity. ● Dirty/containing solid particles or easily polymerizable media.
