The MD500 3X Variable Colposcope is an equipment that has lenses that project the image viewed to the operator at magnifications of 7, 14 and 25 times more, suitable for a better evaluation and detection of microcarcinoma, cancerous or precancerous lesions in the cervix, vagina and vulva, with the aim of deepening the diagnosis of changes observed in the gynecological clinical examination or in the Pap smear, generating comfort and quality for the professional and the patient. Manufactured in accordance with Brazilian regulations and the required safety standards that guarantee the conformity of the equipment.

Cylinder head: Produced in aluminum and later subjected to an Electrochemical anodizing process for better finish and aesthetics.
Lighting System: Responsible for illuminating the entire field of operation in a diameter of 80mm and being able to produce approximately 7000 LUX of luminous intensity with the help of two lenses called "Singlets", one of them with a diameter of 10mm and the other with a diameter of 21mm. Located at the top of the head and allowing the adjustment of the angulation for better positioning during the use of the equipment.
Eyepieces: The Eyepieces of the 3X Variable Colposcope MD500 were made so that the operator can perform the ocular adjustment on both sides, so that visual comfort is achieved with excellence. The eyepieces have two lenses for the operator to view the images produced, one of them being a "Doublet" with a diameter of 22.9mm and a "Singlet" with a diameter of 22.9mm.
Lens barrel: Attached to the inside of the head, it allows 3 different magnifications (7X – 14X – 25X), simply by rotating it and selecting the lenses made of BK7 material (Borosilicate Glass) to change the desired magnification level. Three types of lenses are used in the process, both called "Dubleto", two with a diameter of 11mm, providing a 7X magnification, two with a diameter of 16.9mm with a 67mm focus, providing a 25X magnification, in addition to a 14X magnification
which is possible due to the "Dubleto" with a diameter of 16.9mm with a focus of 150mm and the set of prisms located in the eyepiece assembly. The focal length between the colposcope and patient is 300mm to provide a sharp, clear and high-quality image.
Head Articulation: Allowing the adjustment of focusing, macro and micro adjustments through the rack and having better handling, smoothness and precision during use.

MD500 Colposcope Structure:
Stainless Steel Pedestal: Allows the complete removal of the head assembly, has easy fitting on the Tubular Pedestal directed by a clamp and locking through a handle.
Tubular Pedestal: With electrostatic painting: where the stainless steel pedestal is fitted, locking through a handle thus allowing to position the equipment at the desired height.
Base with casters: Designed in accordance with INMETRO standards with safety lowering (avoids the arming effect), in carbon steel and finished with electrostatic painting. It has five casters for moving the equipment, three with locks and two without locks.
Optional Accessories:
Third eyepiece (or trinocular): The trinocular or third eyepiece output can be used for a second observer or high-definition camera adaptation for playback on televisions, monitors, computers, and/or imaging systems.
Pantographic Arm: Allows the operator to have greater mobility during the use of the equipment, and the articulation is through a spring that allows both vertical and horizontal movements.
