Redispersible polymer powders are free-flowing white or yellowish powders obtained by spray drying aqueous emulsions, which are suitable for the production of various dry mortars. Redispersible polymer powders are reemulsified with water to have the same properties as the original emulsion, i.e., a thin film can be formed after water evaporation. The film has high toughness, weather resistance, and adhesion to substrates. In addition, latex powder with hydrophobic properties can improve the waterproofing performance of waterproofing mortars. Water reduction is mainly used for self-leveling.
