The hydraulic deep-well cargo pump system consists of three main parts: the hydraulic power unit, the deep-well cargo pump, and the control device. The hydraulic power unit is installed in the engine room, providing hydraulic power to all cargo pumps on the vessel and featuring system overload protection. The deep-well cargo pump is installed on deck and extends down to the bottom of the cargo tank for operation. It is driven by a hydraulic motor, with one pump per tank. The control device is installed in the main control room, through which the output flow of the deep-well cargo pump is controlled and the system operating status is monitored. The pump flow can be controlled either remotely from the main control room or manually on site on deck.

The hydraulic deep-well cargo pump system has no electrical equipment at the point of use, thus generating no static electricity or sparks. Therefore, it is safe and reliable when handling flammable, explosive, or toxic chemical media.
