【Product Description】
This product is a dispersion of polydimethylsiloxane and resin in toluene, which is a highly viscous liquid with good adhesion. Low smoke and non-toxic, good stability, high temperature resistance, no carbon precipitation, excellent weather resistance, moisture resistance, electrical insulation.
【Design use】
●It is used for the production of refractory mica tape and high temperature pressure sensitive tape.
● For masking and sheet metal tape.
●Used alone as a kind of adhesive for bonding, fixing or supporting.
【Basic data】
● Appearance: colorless or light yellow translucent liquid, no mechanical impurities
● Diluent: toluene
● Viscosity: (25°Cmm2. Sˉ1) not less than 20000
● Solid content (150 °C * 2h, %): 60±2
● Density (25): 0.98-1.02.
【Instructions for use】
● It is a fast-drying adhesive, with short curing time and strong stickiness, and the mica belt is dry, soft and will not stick after curing.
● SH922A adhesive can be directly coated on the substrate with traditional tape coating equipment, and can be further diluted with phasic solvents such as toluene and xylene before application. The working liquid concentration should be 15 to 20%. The use of solvents must be well ventilated and comply with the solvent supplier's safety precautions and related regulations.
● Curing agent can be used peroxides such as BPO or DPP, it is recommended to use BPO, and the amount is increased by 1.0-3.0% of the 100% glue. The use of curing agents can speed up curing speed or allow curing at low temperatures, but also improve the cohesion strength of the adhesive and improve its adhesion on the substrate.
● When using BPO, it should first be dissolved in toluene and formulated into a 10% solution to achieve optimal mixing with the adhesive. The mixed and formulated peroxide dispersion can only be used for one to two days because the peroxide loses its activity quickly in the solvent. Adequate dispersion of adhesives and peroxides during the mixing process is a necessary condition to ensure the consistency of the finished product.
● Its surface curing cycle: 60 ~ 90 °C * 1 min to remove solvents to ensure that there is no solvent in the adhesive when entering the curing area; 140 ~ 170 °C * 2 min, through thermal curing, its adhesion, cohesion strength and initial adhesion are further strengthened.
● If the equipment and substrate allow higher curing temperatures, the curing time can be shortened. Compared to low temperature curing, increasing the curing temperature can achieve the cohesion strength of the adhesive in a shorter period of time.
【Packaging, storage and transportation and precautions】
Fill in a clean and dry 200kg large iron drum and seal with a cap. In the storage, transportation must be airtight placed in a cool and ventilated dry environment, to prevent rain and sun, pay attention to avoid contact with acids, alkalis or alkaline compounds and heavy metals, storage period of 6 months, overdue can be re-inspected according to the standard, qualified can still be used, according to flammable storage.
