It offers children from 14 years old the opportunity to obtain their first job with the Young Learners program. They work 4 hours a day, 4 days a week, with the right to make one day a week a professional course and receive the opportunity to be effective in the company.
Founded in 1988 and based in Penha (Santa Catarina, Brazil), Itacordaproduced only twisted straw cords for the fishing sector. Due to its concern for the quality and innovation of the products, the company invested in new and modern equipment that allowed the diversification of its production line, facilitating the expansion towards new markets.
Thanks to this dedicated work, the quality of Itacorda crossed borders and is present throughout the national territory and in Latin America (in Paraguay) from where the distribution of the products takes place. Today, Itacorda offers products for the fishing, agricultural, transportation and civil construction sectors, offering materials of polypropylene, polyethylene, virgin polyester (PES), polyamide, polyester (PET), straw, cotton and sisal.
