Description

Kenneth has more than 20 years of experience on PVC compounding system. Our twin screw extruder is especially designed for processing PVC. We provide different size of screw&barrel, diameter is from 55 to 130mm. The durable and high efficient Kenneth PVC compounding pelletizing extrusion line is able to produce rigid PVC, soft PVC, medical grade PVC, uPVC, cPVC, with additives of foam or wood powders. PVC resins and other raw materials are well mixed by hot/cold mixer combination. The free flowing dry blends are delivered by screw conveyor to PVC extruder for melt compounding and extrusion. The vacuum system of PVC extruder removes waste gas during extrusion. Melt streams are extruded from the die and been cut into pellets by a rotary cutter of the die face pelletizing system. Pellets are transported by air to cyclone and cooled by vibrating cooler. All cooled pellets are stored by storage tank.
Automatic Dosing System
The system consists of dumping stations for PVC resins and other compositions, pneumatic transportation system, weighting&metering unit, dust collectors etc. The automatic dosing system can weight&meter each micro ingredient precisely with an accuracy of 0.5% which ensure the formula dosing quality. The fully automated process not only saves labor cost but eliminates manual negligence during production.
Hot Mixer
Hot mixer is used as a pre-compounding equipment for blending PVC resins and additives to have a hot free flowing dry blends. The dry blends are then discharged to a cold mixer to cool the temperature to 40 degree C before going to the next procedure. The mixing speed of hot mixer and the feeding sequence of each raw material composition is adjustable according to different formula processing requirements.
Cold Mixer
Cold mixer is used as a batch cooler for hot mixer. The main function of a cold mixer is to cooling down the hot dry blends from hot mixer while ensure any agglomerations via low speed agitation. When the temperature of PVC dry blends dropped to the required level, cold mixer perform discharge. And screw loader will automatically transport the dry blends into a buffer silo for extrusion or storage.
Screw Loader
Screw loader is the most popular mechanical conveyor used to transportation of bulk materials. Here, the screw loader transports dry blends from buffer silo to the force feeding hopper. The rotating speed of screws is stable which makes materials feeding more smoothly.
Force Feeding Hopper
Force feeding hopper have a vertical agitator and a twin screw feeding mechanism which can actively keep dry blends flowing which effectively avoid bridging during material feeding. And the twin screw ensure the feeding efficiency of material.
Extruder Screw&Barrel
Kenneth selects the most suitable extruder screw&barrels according to customers’ material formulations. From alloy steel selection, machining accuracy to quality management, we have strict standard procedures to ensure good quality and long service life of these key parts.
Die
Kenneth estimates material properties and characteristics for selecting appropriate die material in combination with optimized runner design, that effectively avoids destruction on material properties due to excessive die temperature, uneven material flow rate, material jamming, excessive die pressure, decomposition and carbonization, etc. The die of the PVC extruder is designed with quick clamping in combination with linear guideway, making die open/close and die cleaning easy and fast.
Die-face Pelletizing System
The PVC pelletizing machine has a specially cutter hub, providing convenient cutter head dismantling and calibration.
Cyclone
Cyclone can separate air and pellets and perform initial cooling for pellets.
Vibrating Cooler
Vibrating cooler removes adhesive dusts and cools plastic pellets evenly and rapidly by mechanical vibration.
Storage Silo
The material of storage silo is stainless steel 304. There are different capacities of the silo available. Big bag filling system is also available as per request.
