Kenneth mixers are mainly used for PVC application. It is a blending machine for the preparation of PVC feedstocks for further extrusion processing to various PVC products. Manufacturers of PVC pipes, PVC profiles, PVC boards, PVC sheets, PVC flooring tiles, PVC roof tiles, PVC edge bands, PVC window sills etc, whether big giant companies or small factories, all need the mixers as the necessary equipment for the pre-compounding of PVC resins and other compositions.
The mixing process is a process to combine the PVC resins with various additives required for processing and service properties of final products in accordance with the formulation. Raw materials in the form of solid powder and liquid are well mixed and turned to a homogenized free flowing powder blend(for most rigid PVC application). It is actually a pre-compounding process to get the feedstocks for further processing compounding into final PVC products.
Kenneth PVC mixers are mainly divided into 2 types, hot mixer and cold mixer, as per its function. But in most application, the hot/cold mixer combination is required as a whole set of batch mixing unit.
