Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is widely used in construction, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, detergents, paints, thickeners, emulsifiers, film formers, adhesives, dispersants, protective colloids. We can provide ordinary grade HPMC, we can also provide modified HPMC according to customer requirements. After modification and surface treatment, the product can be quickly dispersed in water, extend the opening time, and resist sagging.

Tile glue
• Good water retention: long opening time, high laying efficiency.
• Improved adhesion and sliding resistance: especially suitable for thick ceramic tiles.
• Better workability: ensures the lubricity and plasticity of the plaster, making plastering easier and faster.
Cement plastering/dry-mix mortar
• Easy to dry mix formula due to cold water solubility: clumping can be easily avoided, ideal for thick tiles.
• Good water retention: prevents liquid loss into the substrate and maintains the proper water content in the mixture, thus guaranteeing a longer solidification time.
• Increased water requirements: increased opening hours, larger spray area and more economical formulations.
• Easier spreading and improved sagging resistance due to increased consistency.
Wall putty
• Water retention: Maximum water content in slurry.
• Anti-sagging: Ripples can be avoided when applying thicker coatings.
• Increased mortar yield: Depending on the weight of the dry mixture and the appropriate formulation, HPMC can increase mortar volume.
Exterior Insulation and Finishing System (EIFS)
• Improved adhesion.
• Good wettability to EPS board and substrate.
• Reduces air ingress and water absorption.
Self-leveling
• Prevents water seepage and substance precipitation.
• Low viscosity has no effect on slurry flowability
