If victim is having trouble breathing, transport to medical care and, if available, give supplemental oxygen. Note to Physician: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory shock as well as oxygen and measures to support breathing manually or mechanically, may be needed.
