Respin Frilac is a natural, thermoplastic paraffin. It is derived from the Araucaria angustifolia, also known as the Parana Pine, through the alcoholic extraction of its resinous parts. Our natural resin is a crystalline, slightly reddish, nut-brown color. Respin Frilac is presented in laminated, thin scales so that it can be easily dissolved in alcohol, providing a high degree of brilliance. Due to its paraffin-based modification, Respin Frilac has anti-mold characteristics, therefore being a specific product for varnishes used in the manufacturing of cheeses, sausages (salami) and similar edible products.
