Respin REB Powder is a natural thermoplastic resin derived from the Araucaria angustifolia tree by the alcoholic extraction of its special resinous parts. This is a powdered product, with a reddish-brown color. Respin REB Powder is a raw material utilized in the production of alcohol-based flexographic inks, rendering gloss, flexibility, prompt drying and adherence. The alcoholic solution of our product can be used in several ways: the impregnation of paper used in the production of fireworks protecting against moisture and as a binder that holds the mixture together and helps produce a vivid color. Used as a fixing and protection varnish for the layer of Silver Nitrate in the production of mirrors. Our product is used in the production of the cement that binds the bulb to the lamp, as a phenolic resin plasticizer. Respin REB Powder can be used together with the Indian shellac gum to improve the quality of the varnish coating in relation to gloss and time of drying. Also, it can be used in combination with other synthetic resins, mainly those produced from colophony, nitrocellulose and P.V.A. Respin REB Powder can be dissolved in ethanol to make liquid varnish for wood finish.
