PAM is the abbreviation of polyacrylamide, which is a water-soluble polymer that is widely used in petroleum, papermaking, metallurgy, textile, chemical industry and environmental protection. There are three types: anionic, cationic, and nonionic. Different uses require different grades of polyacrylamide.
1. In terms of flocculation, PAM can be used to recover solid substances, treat industrial wastewater, domestic sewage and purified water, assist filtration, treatment of coal, mining, drilling slurry, etc.
2. For thicker viscosity, PAM can be used for oil and gas drilling additives and EOR (enhanced oil recovery) water injection processes.
3. For paper mills, polyacrylamide can improve the retention rate of the filler, speed up the filtration capacity of the slurry and the precipitation of white water in the paper, and then solidify, increasing the strength of the paper.
4.PAM can also be used in the textile industry.
