Fiber of animal origin, of cylindrical shape, varying the length between 0.1mm to 0.3mm, has in its composition: Lime, sodium sulfate, ammonia, acid salts,sulfuric acids,chromium, formic acid and pancreatic enzymes.
Due to its properties and similarities such as asbestos fiber, its use extends in several products such as: fiber tile cement, recycled paper, insert and brake canvases, packaging, engine joints, rubbers, soles, acoustic thermo coatings, mass and epoxy paint. It presents excellent result of improvement in the respect and with possibility, absorption and mechanical resistance, in addition to great insulating and acoustic power.
