Characteristics:

Colorless liquid. has an ether-like odor. Dissolved in water, the solubility in water increases with the decrease of temperature. It is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, acetone, benzene and chloroform.

Use:

1, 2-methyl tetrahydrofuran is used in the synthetic drug chloroquine phosphate and pyrethroid phosphate the main raw materials;
2, 2-methyl tetrahydrofuran used as a green solvent, can replace tetrahydrofuran as a Gertreaction reaction solvent, can also replace benzene, toluene, chloroform and other solvents, widely used in synthetic pharmaceutical intermediates, spices, new materials, etc.

Stores:

Products should be stored in an environment with a temperature below 5 degrees C, shelterfrom light, isolated air storage, and filled with nitrogen protection, there shall be no fire sources nearby, not mixed with oxidants and acids.
