2-Phenoxyethyl acrylate (PHEA) is a low-volatile monofunctional aromatic monomer that provides good adhesion. This product has a combination of benzene ring, ether bond, ethyl and acrylate bond structure, and is a single functional monomer with both soft and hard segment structure. The benzene ring structure accounts for 40% of the overall molecular weight, so when used in UV curing systems, it can improve adhesion while giving the product a little hardness without losing flexibility, relieving the stress in the system and reducing shrinkage.
