This pilot-operated, balanced slide valve is a normally closed pressure regulating valve. When the inlet (port 1) pressure reaches the valve setpoint, the valve begins to overflow into the oil tank (port 2), throttling to regulate the pressure. This type of valve offers high pressure regulation accuracy, minimal pressure fluctuations with flow rate changes, smooth regulation, low noise, and moderate response speed.
