18CrNiMo7-6 (1.6587) is a high-strength case-hardening steel, conforming to EN 10084 standard (replacing original DIN 17210 standard).

This steel grade, after hardening and heat treatment, can achieve high surface hardness, relatively deep case depth, and excellent core strength.

Due to the alloying elements containing nickel, molybdenum, and chromium, this material exhibits a remarkable combination of strength and toughness, particularly suitable for manufacturing large-sized, high-load key mechanical parts.
