H13 is a type of air-cooled hot work tool steel, suitable for various high-temperature working environments. This alloy contains relatively high chromium content, which gives it exceptional resistance to thermal shock and thermal stability under high temperature conditions.

H13 tool steel exhibits uniform performance in high-temperature strength, toughness, and hot workability, making it suitable for long-term use in conditions of repeated exposure to heat and cold. The tool can undergo water cooling during use without deformation, which helps extend the tool's lifespan.

After regular heat treatment, H13 is suitable for conducting quenching treatment, with a quenching depth of up to approximately 0.30 mm, thus improving surface hardness and tool longevity.

H13 is widely used in die casting tools, hot forging tools, stamping tools, and other high-temperature forming tools.
