Paper Metal Beads & Trim combines galvanized metal corner and edge protection with high-grade paper tape to provide a cost-effective, problem-free composite recessed drywall finish. By moving or floating with the plaster, paper beads virtually eliminate any possibility of cracking in the corners and edges, independent of frame movement or settlement. The result is a precise, high-quality, straight, smooth surface with no accidental cracks, chips, and nail bursts. Tape paper beads are not attached directly to the frame like traditional beads. Apply the seam to the underside of the paper flange, align and press into place. The seam penetrates into the perforations in the paper, providing excellent adhesion and adhesion to the plaster paper. No mechanical fasteners such as nails, screws, spikes, or crimps are used.
