Density: 1.31-1.34. Soluble in benzene, chloroform, carbon disulfide, dichloromethane, acetone, and ethyl acetate; slightly soluble in ethanol; insoluble in water, gasoline, and low-concentration acids/alkalis. Applications: A medium-speed primary accelerator suitable for natural rubber (NR), insulating rubber (IR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), hot melt rubber (HR), and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM). It is an excellent slow-acting accelerator, highly efficient and safe when used at normal processing temperatures, without causing scorching. The vulcanized rubber exhibits excellent physical properties, and the vulcanization process is completed rapidly. It is usually used alone and activated by dipropylene glycol (DPG), trimethylxylene (TMTD), and trimethylxylene (TS).
