It is one of the most widely used acidic accelerators and a medium-speed primary accelerator. Used alone or in combination with other accelerators (especially alkaline accelerators) such as dimethyl sulfide (DM) and trimethylxylene (TMTD), it can impart excellent aging resistance to rubber, especially suitable for rubbers with higher activity. However, it should be noted that it has a slight tendency to scorch. Not suitable for the production of food contact materials. Mainly used in the production of tires, inner tubes, footwear, rubber belts, and hoses.
