Zipema works with the following products: <br><br><br> <br> Hardwood Flooring: All wood flooring, regardless of width or length, that is one piece of wood from top to bottom is consider solid flooring. It comes in three main types and it is an excellent choice in most areas of a home on the ground level or above. Each type is available in both an unfinished and a pre-finished version. Unfinished flooring must be job-site sanded and finished after installation. Pre-finished flooring is sanded and finished at the factory -- so it only needs installation. The three main types of solid wood flooring are: (1) Strip flooring, (2) Plank flooring and (3) Parquet flooring.<br><br>- Specifications: 1st Quality Tongue & Grove (4 sides), Micro Bevel or Square edge, Unifinished or Prefinished; <br><br>- Brazilian Hardwood species: Jatobá, Cumarú, Ipê, Tauari, Red Cabreúva, Tamarindo, Muiracatiara, Massaranduba, Amapa, Curupay, Marupa, Cedro Rosa, Goiabão, Sucupira, Angelim Pedra and Jequitiba.<br><br><br><br> Engineered Woodflooring: 3-ply (Brazilian Cherry - Jatobá) or 5-ply (Brazilian Cherry / Oak / Tiger Wood) -- S4S - S2S (KD and AD).<br><br><br> Decking: Ipê / Cambará Woods -- these products resist shrinking in all types of wheather conditions. We represent some of the best decking producers in Brazil.<br><br><br><br> Veneers: (1) Rotary veneer: usually used on plywood and its thickness can vary from 1 to 3mm. One smooth face. (2) Sliced veneer: Used to cover the wood surfaces as plywood, particleboard and MDF or even walls. Each specie of wood can determinate the thickness of the veneer, from 0.63mm to 0.7mm (1/40” to 1/36”).
