Apaeb Sisal

The production of sisal rugs is one of the solutions found by APAEB to develop the sisal region. Until then the product was underrated producer and victim of middlemen who impose the price they wanted.

The industry has modern looms with capacity to produce up to 100 thousand square meters of carpets and rugs per month. The factory runs daily and generates about 250 direct jobs. Most of the production is for the domestic market, with exports to the regular United States, Europe, and South America

The quality of the rugs and concern for the preservation of the environment seen in first world countries propel our growth. The sisal fiber is a natural product and when discarded, decomposes without polluting nature as synthetics. The company is certified ISO 9001.
