It was the middle of the pandemic when the kitchen of the couple Antônio Carlos Salles and Zulmara Menezes became the heart of a new dream: Empório La Zuka. What started with flavored rice, artisanal breads and gourmet antipasti quickly conquered the palate of the people of Alagoas, driving the small company to grow with identity, flavor and purpose. With the support of Sebrae and a vision focused on quality and innovation, the brand has evolved without losing its artisanal essence. And, of course, on this path the seasoning of palm oil, the striking flavor of acarajé and the affection put into each recipe could not be missing. Today, Empório La Zuka brings practicality and northeastern authenticity to hotels, resorts, bars, beach clubs, restaurants and supermarkets, offering a handmade, frozen product ready to serve in minutes. We currently have a team of 3 employees, with a production capacity of 30,000 acarajé dumplings/month (currently, on average, we produce 16,000 dumplings).
