Vuelo Pharma was born from a dream: the dream of helping people live better. A family difficulty sparked a desire to alleviate pain and improve the quality of life for people suffering from skin lesions. Forestry engineer João Carlos Moreschi's mother had suffered from a varicose ulcer on her leg for over five years. The family had already consulted several specialists and tried a variety of treatments, but nothing completely resolved the problem. Dissatisfied with the lack of effective results from conventional treatments, João Carlos decided to seek a solution on his own. A recently retired university professor with scientific and technological expertise in microbiology and cellulose, he began his studies in search of a solution that could help his mother and others suffering from the same problem. In 2000, after much dedication, the regenerating membrane was launched. Thus, Membracel was born, a product capable of eliminating pain and promoting accelerated healing in any type of skin lesion. Faced with the need to introduce new products to the market and after 16 years of solid experience in the wound dressing market, the company decided to begin an expansion process. The brand revamped its concept, creating a new visual identity, revamping its approach, and becoming Vuelo Pharma. And the inventor's mother? Dona Vitória had her ulcer cured by Membracel and lived happily with her children and grandchildren until she was 97. Understanding people's individualities and helping them live better lives.
