Potassium pyrophosphate, obtained by melting and losing water molecules of potassium dibasic phosphate, is a white crystalline powder or granule at room temperature, has strong hygroscopicity in the air, is soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, and the aqueous solution is alkaline, which has the effect of inhibiting food spoilage and fermentation.
1. Mainly used for cyanide-free electroplating, instead of electroplating complexing agent. It is also used as an electroplating pretreatment agent and pyrophosphate electroplating solution.
2. Preparation of clothing detergent components, metal surface cleaners and bottled cleaners, additives of various cleaning agents.
3. It is used as a clay dispersant, a dispersant and buffer for pigments and dyes in the ceramic industry.
4. The bleaching industry is used to remove trace amounts of ferric ions in water and improve the quality of bleaching.
