Continuing the ideals of its pioneers Fazenda Santana adapted to the concept of the so-called Estate Coffees, or special coffees, which indicates that the Fazenda produces, toasts and markets its own coffee; being that it is marketing its coffee in networks of supermarkets and in the commerce in general besides offering coffee machines in regime of comodato.
To give sustainability to this ideal was created Santana Comercial e Exportadora Ltda., Which launched a special coffee brand, The Zenun Coffee. Recently the company has launched a second brand Ouro de Kaffa. Each brand is a blend specially prepared with coffees produced in the municipality of Campestre.
Social and Environmental Responsibility
Certification processes are designed to assure the final consumer that the product they have purchased has been produced in accordance with quality criteria and internationally recognized social and environmental responsibility. Regarding coffee, some national and international organizations such as Emater, UTZ CERTIFIED and the Rainforest Alliance have been created to conduct the certification process for coffee farms, creating codes of conduct for themselves and with specific objectives.
